Somers Cultural Commission

The Cultural Commission was established in 1993. Its mission is to promote cultural programs and activities in Somers.

The Commission sponsors varied and interesting events throughout the year. It receives a small stipend from the town, other funds are raised independently and by receiving donations from the people in town. Click here for details about the Cultural Commission.


Special Events

Each year we sponsor several special events above and beyond the annual events listed below. These events are different each year, to respond to different interests and times. Check back soon for the next Special Events as all information will be available here.

The Cultural Commission sponsors the Mary Drayton Visual Arts Scholarship. The 2010 winner has been announced. Follow the link to the information page.
